Town & Country Haus supports house builders with digital sampling

  • House builders can configure variable elements for house construction online
  • Connecting license partners of Town & Country Haus and house builders
  • Intershop solution as basis for B2B2C customer portal

Jena, Germany, February 12, 2020 – The Town & Country Haus Lizenzgeber GmbH, the nationwide leading brand in licensed solid house construction and the most frequently built brand house in Germany, provides its customers and construction partners with a software-supported sampling portal for the selection of house equipment for the approximately 40 different house types. Digital sampling based on Intershop creates an additional interactive collaboration offering that is expected to generate further growth.

The unique sampling portal offers future homeowners an overview of the high-quality, comprehensive, home furnishings already included in the fixed price. This covers details up to bathroom fittings, doors, and roof tiles, for example. In addition, further optional extras that are subject to surcharge can be selected. The portal aims to give house builders sufficient time and transparency for the selection of the equipment variants offered. After completion of the digital sampling process, the pre-selection is transmitted electronically to the Town & Country license partner responsible for the project. This process facilitates smooth sampling. "It will be much easier for the house builders to get an overview of all contractually available products and to select the most suitable ones", Jürgen Dawo, founder of Town&Country Haus, explains the new possibilities.

The Intershop solution was linked to the CRM system already established by the customer. A single sign-on functionality was implemented, which allows the house builders to get the appropriate view according to their house type, building permit number and construction progress.

Jürgen Dawo comments on the company objective: "The satisfaction of our customers does not just begin with the handover of keys. The portal supports prospective homeowners with the many individual decisions that have to be made during the construction of a house. The portal is thus a further milestone for uncomplicated building without risk".

Markus Klahn COO of Intershop: "The project is a tangible example of how digitization creates new added value in a wide range of industries and topics. Where a few years ago thick folders and countless appointments were necessary, today decisions can be made directly and conveniently from the sofa".

The B2B2C solution was implemented by the implementation partner 4FriendsOnly from Ilmenau, who have already proven their expertise in the Intershop systems environment in other ambitious customer projects.
