Alturos Destinations migrates its One-Stop-Shop to Intershop

Jena, Germany, March 28, 2019 – Alturos Destinations AG, market leader in digital tourism distribution solutions in Switzerland, has selected Intershop for its omnichannel e-commerce solution Peaksolution®.

The existing platform will be used for the digital marketing of services in Switzerland. Well-known companies such as BLS, Rhätische Bahn, Jungfraubahnen and Matterhorn Gotthard Bahn / Gornergrat Bahn offer their customers the opportunity to book their mountain railway tickets, as well as accommodation, ski courses, concert tickets, parking tickets, adventure packages and much more, conveniently from their homes in a one-stop shop. Tourist destinations also rely on Alturos destinations for digital marketing, such as the Jungfrau region in the Bernese Oberland or the Zillertal valley in Austria.

In workshops lasting several days and after a very detailed technical due diligence, those responsible at Alturos Destinations were able to see for themselves that Intershop, with its rich portfolio of B2B functionalities, offers better conditions for strategic growth than the Magento solution previously used. The replatforming project will largely be implemented by the e-commerce experts at Alturos Destinations themselves.
