Frank Fischer is the new Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Intershop Communications AG

Jena, Germany, December 1, 2022 – Intershop Communications AG, global provider of B2B commerce solutions for the upper mid-market in the manufacturing and wholesale sectors, is operating with a changed supervisory board with immediate effect.

The current Chairman of the Supervisory Board, Christian Oecking, has resigned from his position for personal reasons after six and a half years as of November 30, 2022. At Intershop, Mr Oecking has accompanied and significantly supported the cloud transformation with his expertise. On behalf of the Management Board and the company, we would like to thank him warmly for his great commitment over several years.

Frank Fischer, Chairman of the Management Board of Shareholder Value Management AG, and long-time representative of the anchor shareholders of Intershop Communications AG, is a member of the Supervisory Board as of today and was elected Chairman of the Supervisory Board by the committee. After Christian Oecking resigned during the year before the next Annual Stakeholders’ Meeting, Frank Fischer was appointed by the court at the request of the Management Board Markus Klahn with the approval of the Supervisory Board members Ulrich Prädel, Prof-Dr Louis Velthuis and Oliver Bendig.
