Your mission
As (Senior) Product Manager, you will be responsible for central functions of our e-commerce platform - including the shopping basket, price and discount logic, checkout and order management.
You will strategically develop these core functionalities, prioritise new features based on market and customer requirements and ensure that our platform meets the highest standards in the B2B and B2C environment.
Your tasks:
- You will be responsible for the product strategy and roadmap in the area of central e-commerce functionalities.
- You will analyse market trends, customer requirements and competitors.
- You will be responsible for defining and prioritising features and developing corresponding business cases.
- You hand over the requirements to the product owner and work closely with them during implementation.
- You manage the success of the product based on defined KPIs (e.g. frequency of use, conversion rates).
- You will work closely with the UX, Engineering, Sales, Customer Success and Partner Management departments.
Your profile
- You have a degree in a software-related field or 5 years of experience in a comparable field.
- You have a good understanding of commerce processes and cloud-based platform architectures.
- You have the ability to strategically translate customer needs and business requirements into product visions.
- You have experience in prioritising features based on business impact and market analysis.
- Your strengths include a structured, independent way of working and strong communication skills in German and English.
- Ideally, you have experience with API-first approaches, microservices or composable commerce architectures.
