Jena, April 28, 2011 – The Intershop Enfinity Suite e-commerce solution combines the benefits of online shopping with the specialist advice normally associated with brick-and-mortar stores. Instead of asking customers to specify complicated product features, the Intershop Product Adviser recommends suitable products via a needs-based advice process. The system also suggests alternatives that best match the customer’s input, thus avoiding frustrating “no results found” pages. Including accessories in the advice allows retailers to achieve additional revenues through cross-selling. Buyer ratings and product tests are also incorporated.
