Jena, March 30, 2011 – The Würth Group, the world’s number one supplier of assembly and fixing materials, is deploying Intershop’s Enfinity Suite software across the Group as its e-commerce platform.
With major customers in France having already benefited from the new solution, a worldwide rollout is planned, commencing with migration of the German subsidiary’s custom solution to the Enfinity Suite. Key factors in favor of the Intershop platform were its modularity and outstanding internationalization capability.

The Würth Group’s new B2B platform gives business customers access to a product range comprising over 100,000 items, including screws, dowels, tools, and chemical products. The e-commerce system enables Würth customers to order all products online. The customer-oriented store offers users an optimized ordering experience, including enhanced product information, custom product lists and special offers, order control, and order tracking.
