Styrolution selects Intershop for its global e-commerce platform

  • Market leader in styrenics will run its B2B shop on the new Intershop 7 platform
  • Global roll-out planned by September 2013

Jena, Germany, July 17, 2012 – Intershop Communications AG, a leading provider of innovative e-commerce solutions and services, today announced that Styrolution Group GmbH has selected Intershop to provide its international e-commerce platform. Styrolution is the world's leading supplier of styrenics, specializing in styrene monomer, polystyrene, copolymers, and acrylonitrile butadiene styrene. The company's B2B shop will run on the new Intershop 7 e-commerce platform in the future. The aim is to have the company’s complete product portfolio available worldwide in six languages by September 2013. Business customers will then have access to a wide selection of styrenics, which are used in a variety of industries, including automotive, household, medical, electrical, and packaging industries.
