Service Platform 4.0: ISS relies on Intershop for its service portal in Germany

Jena, November 13, 2018- The Intershop Commerce Suite provides the technological basis for an ISS service portal in which services from companies in the automotive industry can be ordered tailored to their needs at any time.

ISS is one of the world's leading facility services companies and offers a broad range of services: digital facility management, building technology, capital projects, cleaning, catering, security, office services, and integrated facility services. With almost 500,000 employees, the company is one of the largest private employers in the world.

In a first project step, the cleaning services of assembly and painting lines of a German automobile manufacturer will be bookable in the customer portal. With the experience gained in this section, the solution is to be rolled out to other service areas worldwide in the future.
