Jena, 15. November 2018 – Intershop’s E-Commerce solution was chosen as best suited to run a flexible portal aimed to grow with the needs of Desivero’s business. Now, the company offers via their store www.desivero.com products and services for heating and air conditioning and consulting throughout Italy.
Desivero has high quality standards. Therefore, they founded a dedicated academy for qualifying plumbing and heating technicians in the fields of new interventions and renovations. The thus well-trained staff can then use their know-how ordering in the shop the best option of required tools and devices for the projects at hand.
The centralized management of the various sales channels has made it easier and faster to work with a catalog containing more than 3,000 references divided by topics. By the use of a CMS, independent updates to the various contents of the site, catalogues and product sheets, achieve the goal of a true seamless user experience.
Partner SMC Consulting supported Desivero throughout the customization project. The shop now features an integrated frontend with a design tool that makes the customer protagonist in the realization of their bathroom renovation project. At the back-end the compatibility of the various products is assured. A wizard helps the end user to purchase the best air conditioning for the environment in which it will be installed.
Nino Piredda, General Manager of Desivero: “We are a start-up, founded in 2015. Our vision is to make the sector of plumbing more accessible for technological innovation, since the sector so far doesn´t use much of the potential digitalization holds for our businesses. Our e-commerce platform and the subsequent academy is a step here which is both pragmatic and ambitious.”
Markus Klahn, COO of Intershop: “This project shows how digitization thrives, when the right people with their innovative spirit are supported by excellent technology. The Intershop Commerce Suite with its rich functionalities proves yet again to be the ideal platform to build ideas upon.”
More details to this project are documented in a subsequent case study.
