Jena, Germany, January 22, 2007 - Southern Germany-based Lechler GmbH is extending its B2B online portal for business customers to cover new international markets. The technology behind the system is Enfinity Suite 6, the latest e-commerce software from Intershop Communications AG. Lechler, which has been running Intershop software since 2002, is now leveraging the Jena-based company's e-commerce expertise to grow its international business.
Lechler is one of the world's leading specialists in nozzle and spray technology. Headquartered in Metzingen, southern Germany, the group is targeting its new, improved online platform at distributors and mid-sized companies. Lechler also plans to extend its online sales channel to new markets, such as, the USA and India.
With a portfolio of over 20,000 standard products, Lechler offers a comprehensive selection of nozzles that allows major industrial customers from sectors including the chemical industry, agriculture, and environmental technology to benefit from individual solutions.
