LEDON Lamp GmbH goes live with Intershop

  • Online store of LED lamp manufacturer live since mid-April
  • Intershop supports entire e-commerce chain for Austrian and German markets
  • Fast implementation and flexible provision of specialized solutions key factors in contract award

Jena, Germany, April 17, 2012 – Intershop is helping LEDON Lamp GmbH, a subsidiary of listed Austrian company Zumtobel AG, to expand into online direct sales in the Austrian and German markets. Environmentally-friendly and energy-saving LED lamps for household lighting are now available from LEDON’s online store (www.ledon.de and www.ledon.at). Parent company Zumtobel is the European market leader in professional lighting.

LEDON aims to use the online store to engage directly with customers and provide them with special offers through the newly established LEDON Club. In the near future, LEDON also plans to carry out joint sales campaigns with partners on the Intershop platform.

As business process outsourcing provider, Intershop takes care of most elements in the e-commerce value chain, from developing and running the online store (Software as a Service) through customer care to handling returns and accounts receivable management. The single-source solution facilitates smooth, customer-friendly processing of orders and deliveries.
