Utrecht, Netherlands, April 23, 2012 – Robert de Boer, Intershop country manager for the Benelux region, will present a workshop on 'The Interconnected World of Commerce' at E-commerce Dagen in Utrecht, Netherlands. The industry event, which takes place at Jaarbeurs Utrecht on 24 and 25 April, will provide a platform for leading businesses to discuss mobile commerce, social commerce, payment solutions, distribution concepts, and all aspects of online marketing. Robert’s presentation on Tuesday 24 April 2012 from 11:05 - 11:50 in E-commerce Theatre 1 will examine how the world of e-commerce is set to change, and how the need to close the ever growing 'interconnected world' is the key to success for any online business. He will explain how a successful online presence leads to expansion into new markets and improved customer satisfaction, while simultaneously creating an increase in sales and sales margins. The presentation will also discuss the importance of channels such as social networks, market places, price comparison portals, as well as an effective online marketing strategy.
