Jena, September 28, 2007 – Held on September 18, 2007 in Jena, the “1st IIP – Intershop International Partner Day” saw e-commerce provider Intershop officially inaugurating its new partner program.
Intershop is gearing up for growth, primarily through working with sales and project partners, but also by targeting selected technology topics and promoting its online marketing offerings. Increased revenues, strong operational performance over recent months, and a stable cash position provide Intershop and its partners with a solid foundation for shared long-term success.
Many Intershop customers are already being supported highly effectively by partners. In the future, the company will focus even more on working with major customers, such as Otto, Quelle, Deutsche Telekom, DaimlerChrysler, Hewlett-Packard, and Sun Microsystems. Partners, on the other hand, can leverage their geographic proximity to customers, as well as their experience with specific industries and business models.
Enfinity Suite 6 has long enjoyed a reputation among Intershop Partners as an e-commerce software product that offers exceptional power and flexibility. This is reflected by the fact that more than half of Germany’s ten most successful online stores regularly run on Enfinity. Showcased in detail at the IIP, Enfinity Suite 6.2 adds a multitude of new functions, covering areas such as product searches and product editing.
Intershop remains interested in working with new partners with e-commerce experience who actively market Enfinity Suite 6 in their region and implement it for their customers. Like existing partners, they can expect strong support from Intershop, including joint sales and marketing activities, in-depth Enfinity training for their employees, coaching during the initial projects, and an attractive share of license revenues.
