Intershop Partners with FACT-Finder

Intershop is partnering with Omikron Data Quality GmbH, the German market leader for online product searches

Jena, Germany - December 7, 2006 - Intershop Communications AG will incorporate the FACT-Finder search and navigation solution into the upcoming 6.2 version of its Enfinity software. FACT-Finder ranks itself as market leader in Germany for product searches in online stores and is used by over 200 sites in Germany. Together, the two partners can offer an unrivaled software package for successful e-commerce.

"The objective of this partnership is to significantly enhance our existing functionality in the product search and navigation domain, enabling our customers to boost sales volumes without major system modifications," says Ralf Männlein, the Intershop board member responsible for sales and marketing.

Both existing Intershop customers and new customers will benefit from optimized Enfinity Suite 6.2 with FACT-Finder. The error-tolerant search and navigation solution is pre-integrated and requires virtually no maintenance. All settings and updates can be performed while the system is running. Web stores can achieve significantly increased sales almost immediately after installation of the search system, without the need for complicated configuration work.
