Intershop Makes OMD Debut

Intershop and its fully integrated new business unit to attend Germany's leading online marketing show

Jena, Germany, August 31, 2006 - Intershop will be in Düsseldorf from September 20 to 21, 2006, to attend the OMD show, Germany's foremost digital marketing event. This marks the Jena-based software company's debut at OMD. Intershop's presence at booth 2C12 in Hall 2 concludes the integration of its new online marketing activities, while also representing an opportunity to showcase the company's full range of offerings and customer portfolio in this segment.

The acquisition in June of this year of SoQuero, a Frankfurt-based online marketing service provider, saw Intershop rounding out its claim to offer integrated expertise for online business. The company is now able to deliver comprehensive online marketing services, as well as powerful software solutions for web-based sales and procurement.

Intershop's press conference at OMD is scheduled for September 20 at 11:40 a.m. in the press conference room of Hall 1. Ralf Männlein, the Intershop board member responsible for sales and marketing, will report on the initial outcomes of successfully incorporating SoQuero GmbH into Intershop's operations as a new Online Marketing business unit.

Over the past few years, OMD has established itself as a leading industry event and key forum for digital marketing. The convention will be taking place in Düsseldorf on September 20 and 21, 2006, for the seventh time.
