Intershop introduces out-of-the-box solution for B2B commerce, Commerce Suite Instant

London, 12 May 2015 – Intershop today introduces Commerce Suite Instant, a special offering provided jointly with partners. Commerce Suite Instant is aimed at B2B businesses in the UK with an annual turnover of under £50 million. The complete B2B commerce solution comes in ‘shop in a box’ style and provides a fast path to market for organisations that want to deliver a superior e-commerce experience to B2B buyers, who increasingly prefer the speed and convenience of ordering online.

Commerce Suite Instant combines the Intershop Commerce Suite platform with an attractive storefront, which is custom designed by an Intershop partner. Following setup, the monthly subscription of £9-15K per month, depending on requirements, includes hosting, maintenance, disaster recovery, backup and support. The platform offers all the features of a comprehensive multi-channel commerce platform, including intuitive order processes, online payments, self-service options, tailored promotions, and easy product and order management. In addition, it meets B2B specific requirements with built-in quote management and order approval, simplified processes for repeat and bulk orders, and the option to create customer specific product catalogues and pricing. Forrester Research has predicted that B2B e-commerce sales will exceed 1.1 trillion US Dollars by 2020 [Death of a (B2B) Salesman, Forrester, April 2015], a jump of 40% on Forrester’s previous forecast.
