Jena/San Francisco, February, 05 2008 – Intershop Communications, a leading global e-commerce provider for some of the largest e-commerce sites worldwide, today announced it has appointed Nader Nemati as Managing Director – Americas.

Mr. Nemati will be responsible for the overall operation, including sales, solution offering and deployment, continued growth and profitability of Intershop Communications, Inc. in the Americas region reporting to the CEO.
Mr. Nemati is a proven Information Technology (IT) executive and brings more than 20 years of expanding IT, sales, operations, and change management roles in Fortune-50, mid-market and start-up companies with focus on growth, field enablement, and productivity. He also brings significant global experience having successfully conducted business and managed teams in all of the major geographical regions around the world.
Prior to joining Intershop, Mr. Nemati was the co-founder and CEO of CompuNet eBusiness Group, Inc. later acquired by Epicor Software. Most recently, he was Global Director, Retail and Hospitality Practice and Strategic Programs for Epicor Software.
Mr. Nemati has also held management level positions at several Fortune 50 companies including Honeywell, Sears & Roebuck and AlliedSignal. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from California State University, Los Angeles, as well as his Masters of Business Administration degree in Management Information Systems.
