The partnership will see the two commerce specialists combine their expertise in the areas of software and services for multi-channel selling and order management solutions.
Shopatron customers will benefit from Intershop’s comprehensive commerce platform that is designed to support every aspect of multi-channel e-business today and into the future. With Intershop’s highly engineered commerce engine, Shopatron customers can meet the requirements of their ever-changing and complex demand chains.

Shopatron and Intershop have developed an interface between the respective platforms and will work closely to market and deliver a pre-integrated solution. By integrating Shopatron’s order management solution for branded manufacturers, Shopatron Manufacturer, into Intershop 7, customers can sell online and send the resulting orders to local retail shops for delivery to the customer. Shopatron’s multi-channel retail solution, Shopatron Retailer, gives Intershop 7 the capability to fulfill orders from inventory centers, including both retail stores and distribution centers.
