Intershop closes out CeBIT by winning new contract

Jena/Hanover, Germany - March 15, 2006 - Intershop Communications AG (Prime Standard: ISH2) closed out a successful CeBIT 2006. The Jena-based e-commerce company signed up Music Store A.Sauer GmbH as a new customer at the world's biggest show for the IT and telecommunications sectors.

"Our presence at booth B18 in hall 5 met with a very positive response from customers, partners, and other show visitors. At this year's CeBIT show, Intershop announced its entry into the end-to-end e-commerce market. Effective immediately, the company covers the full range of e-commerce business processes-from software, service, and fulfillment to online marketing and logistics.

Sales and marketing head Ralf Männlein adds: "This year marked CeBIT's twentieth anniversary. Intershop has attended for ten of those years, demonstrating remarkable continuity in its sector."

Intershop partners Getit, novomind, and VoiceWeb One, who presented solutions based on Intershop's packaged Enfinity Suite 6 software at the company's booth, were also pleased with their CeBIT experience.
