Jena, 16. October 2018 – Croatia´s leading telecom provider A1 Hrvatska, a 100% daughter of A1 Telekom Austria Group and formerly branded as Vipnet, is the first customer to go live on Intershop´s latest commerce solution. Less than two weeks after the official release date the project team of OptimIT migrated the existing online shop onto Intershop 7.10.
The migration was part of a growth strategy to reach more customers and facilitating better convenience. Renato Dragišić, Project Manager at OptimIT explains: “Originally we planned for a gradual upgrade from previous versions of the commerce platform. However, in parallel we set up the deployment for the web shop already for the 7.10. That went without hassle and remained stable from the start. We therefore decided to stay with that version already.”
Now the team is using the freed project time to implement further features for the site.
Slaven-Ivan Kalinski, Product Owner at A1 Hrvatska is satisfied with the project´s development: “As our customer base and their expectations steadily increase, the solution is more than welcome to realize our ambitious business strategy. The platform offers a variety of features we plan to implement by the end of the year. We are absolutely confident to have the right solution and IT experts at hand to meet the highest expectations.”
