Your mission
Our e-commerce solutions run either with the cloud provider Microsoft in Azure or in other data centers. As a database administrator, your main tasks include planning, installation, configuration, support and administration (monitoring, analysis, performance tuning, troubleshooting, maintenance, reports, backup and recovery) of database management systems based on Oracle. In addition, you are responsible for the further development and optimization of database landscapes as well as the planning and installation of upgrades and patches. You will create database scripts in the context of our e-commerce applications, support projects in the database area and carry out migration projects. In 2nd level support you analyze problem cases or requirements and develop sustainable solutions.
Your profile
- Curiosity, enjoyment of agile work in an innovative company and the willingness to continuously develop (especially in the Azure and Cloud environment)
- Several years of experience in administration and operation of Oracle
- Strengths in the conception and implementation of solutions in the database environment
- Backup and recovery experience
- Experience with version migrations is an advantage
- Good knowledge of various operating systems (Windows, Linux, etc.)
- Experience in SQL programming and tuning
- Experience in the field of Java-based web applications is advantageous
- Good written and spoken German and English
