Your mission
Your mission is the creation and parallelization of automated tests for faster results and more well-founded quality statements. You will work with our developers and product managers to create test plans and write test cases that are tailored to the development process. It depends on your participation in all development phases (design, implementation and deployment). You will help the development team to identify problems early in the development process. You create automated end-to-end test cases and integrate them into the deployment process. If automation is not possible, then your manual testing of product functions ensures the quality claims of our product.
- You support the automation of various quality assurance processes.
- You take on the test conception and design and select suitable test methods and tools.
- You support the test automation and take over the development of test scripts.
- Together in a team, you will develop our approaches in the areas of performance engineering, test automation and robotic process automation (RPA).
- You support the planning, implementation and execution of automated software tests.
- You support training and communication in the field of test automation.
Your profile
- Completed training in IT or a degree in computer science or a comparable subject
- First professional experience in the field of software development and in the field of test automation is an advantage
- Experience with proven automation methods, test frameworks and development tools
- Interest and passion for software development and test automation
- Knowledge of modern web technologies
Desirable:
- Functional knowledge of Javascript (TypeScript an advantage)
- Experience in testing APIs (REST, GraphQL)
- Experience with integrating test cases into a build chain involving Kubernetes and CI/CD tools
- Experience in software development with Java
- ISTQB certification
