What is the Intershop Certified Professional Program (ICPP)?

The ICPP recognizes experienced Technology Professionals for their expertise in developing and deploying applications on Intershop Products through a challenging examination process.

IT certifications are designed to validate a candidate's knowledge and skill in a specific area or product. By achieving Intershop certification, your customers and colleagues will know that you have the specific knowledge and skill set required to effectively develop and deploy Enfinity applications.

What are the different certification types within Intershop's Certified Professional Program?

The ICPP currently offers certification to the following groups: Developer, System Administrator and Web Designer.

How do I become an Intershop Certified Professional?

Proven implementation of Intershop products and necessary training are key ingredients in determining whether you should take the next step toward becoming certified.

What are the suggested prerequisites for the Intershop Certification Partner Program?

Before you take the Intershop Certification Exams, we suggest you meet the following prerequisites:

• Successful completion of outlined coursework (or equivalent professional experience)
• At least one year successfully developing and deploying Intershop applications

What is the cost to take the Intershop Certification Exams?

The price is $150 for an Intershop Certification Exam.

How are the certification exams set up and delivered?

The certification exams consist of 60 to 90 multiple-choice questions delivered in a proctored testing environment. Candidates will have 1 minute per question to complete the exam. Reference materials are not permitted and discussion between examinees is strictly prohibited. Candidates need to score 70% correct or better on the exam to pass and become certified. Certificates are granted on a pass/fail basis.

Where can I take the exam?

You can take the exam at any of Intershop's worldwide offices. Additionally, we can arrange group certification tests at your premises, by request.

What is a passing score on the certification exam?

Candidates need to score 70% correct or better on the exams to pass and become certified. Certificates are granted on a pass/fail basis.

What identification and information do I need to bring with me to the testing facility?

Two forms of identification are necessary: a valid form of picture identification (driver's license, passport, or equivalent) and a second form of ID with signature.

When do I receive my exam results?

Immediately after you complete the test, the Intershop testing system will inform you of your score and of your pass/fail status. If you pass the exam and achieve certification, we will ship you an Intershop Certified Professional Kit.

When should I expect to receive my certification kit?

Within 2-3 weeks of passing the exam, we will ship your Intershop Certified Professional Kit. This will be shipped to the address you will have provided to us. Please make sure when providing information that you supply us with a valid shipping address (no P.O. boxes please).

What is in the certification kit?

A letter welcoming you as a newly certified member; a personalized certificate acknowledging your status as a Certified Intershop Developer, System Administrator, or Web Designer; a diskette containing the ICPP logos and guidelines for usage; and a special gift on behalf of Intershop.

What happens if I fail the exam?

You are allowed to take the exam up to three times in a one-year period from the date you first took the exam, with a minimum of 30 days in between exams.

What is Intershop's policy for cancellations?

Intershop requires that you give a minimum of 24 hours notice before canceling an exam. For these cancellations, credits will be issued when rescheduling those exams. If you do not adhere to this policy, you will lose your examination fee, and will be required to pay the full amount when rescheduling for the next exam.

What is the refund policy?

Refunds are granted to examinees that cancel their examinations with at least 24 hours notice. No other refund requests apply.

Are the ICPP Exams offered outside of North America?

Yes. The ICPP is a worldwide program.
