‘What’s going on in (R)etailing?!’ 2015: Intershop to present at Mobile Commerce Boot Camp
- 16 April, Passenger Terminal Amsterdam
- Roundtable on Mobile Commerce Challenges, 9.00-12.00
Amsterdam, 16 April 2015 – Intershop takes part at this year’s ‘What’s going on in (R)etailing?!’ conference and Mobile Commerce Boot Camp, to take place on 16 April 2015 at the Passenger Terminal Amsterdam, Netherlands. Sponsor of both the conference and the Boot Camp, Intershop will host a roundtable at the Mobile Commerce Boot Camp from 9.00-12.00.
Gerrit Eindhoven, Country Manager Benelux, Intershop will be part of an expert panel alongside speakers from Google and McDonald’s to discuss the latest trends and developments in mobile commerce, customer centric mobile strategies, and ways to connect offline and online shopping environments via outstanding mobile customer experiences.
As consumers already spend more than 60 percent of their online time at retailers via mobile devices, mobile is no longer a nice-to-have; it has become a necessity. The roundtable will discuss questions including:
- Which mobile experience does a retailer need to provide?
- Which mobile customer journeys does he need to support?
- What impact will this have on the e-commerce success and point of sale architecture?
Now in its 24th year, the annual ‘What’s going on in (R)etailing?!’ conference provides an overview of international visions, strategies and best practices in online retailing. It brings together the major players in the retail value chain, both food and non-food as well as fashion.
