- Reduced risk of non-payment for online retailers
- Convenient payment transactions to cut the number of abandoned shopping carts
Jena, Germany, November 17, 2009 – Minimizing risk and providing simple, secure payment options for customers are often key to success for online retailers. Intershop customers can now leverage the many payment solutions offered by Paynova AB, plus the newly integrated receivables and risk management services of acoreus AG.
To protect themselves against non-payment, retailers use risk management services for credit and debit cards and for transactions involving direct debit or payment by invoice. Intershop partners also provide receivables management processes, which enable small enterprises or, for example, electronics dealers (who are more affected by non-payment than other sectors) to reduce risk without additional effort.
Retailers can establish simple, intuitive order and payment processes, including payment methods, such as Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, Giropay, iDeal, and direct debit. Simplified payment options mean fewer abandoned carts for online store operators, which in turn boosts customer satisfaction and sales.
Peter Mark Droste, Management Board member of Intershop Communications AG: “Online retailers can now outsource all their financial processes. Intershop customers have direct access to this end-to-end offering, which dovetails perfectly with our strategy to make e-commerce as uncomplicated as possible by providing the best one-stop solutions.”
