Fidelity National Information Services and Intershop Establish Relationship for E-Commerce Solutions
Partnership offers e-commerce solutions on demand
Jacksonville, Fla., Jena, Germany, March 1, 2007 - Fidelity National Information Services, Inc. (NYSE: FIS) today announced that it has executed an agreement with Intershop Communications AG that enables Intershop to offer e-commerce solutions as an outsourced service.
As a part of this agreement, Intershop will combine its e-commerce software, Enfinity, with FIS' information technology services to deliver Enfinity as a hosted service. Leveraging its extensive product knowledge, Intershop will support and maintain the product, which assists online marketing, sales and procurement initiatives. In this managed environment, clients will benefit from Enfinity's comprehensive capabilities, as well as FIS' proven information technology infrastructure management, disaster recovery, and security and network services.
