Intershop Receives Order from Electronic Software Distribution

New ESDNOW online portal supports easy software downloading for customers

Jena, Germany, February 23, 2007 - Intershop Communications AG today announced that it received an order from Dutch software distributors Electronic Software Distribution (ESDNOW), whose B2B and B2C customers can download software online at www.esdnow.com. The online portal is being completely revamped based on Intershop's Enfinity Suite 6 software, with the go-live date scheduled for summer of this year.

Headquartered in Schiphol, Netherlands, ESDNOW only sells its software products online. Customers download software files directly from the website and activate them with a serial number or code. The company's product portfolio ranges from security software to entertainment, business, and language solutions.

The new online portal powered by Intershop's Enfinity Suite 6 software is expected to set new benchmarks in terms of usability and stability, enabling customers to download software quickly and easily.
