CeBIT 2006: Intershop Sees Expectations Significantly Exceeded

Intershop closes out CeBIT by winning new contract

Jena/Hanover, Germany - March 15, 2006 - Intershop <nobr>Communications AG</nobr> (Prime Standard: ISH2) closed out a successful <nobr>CeBIT 2006</nobr>. The Jena-based <nobr>e-commerce</nobr> company signed up Music Store <nobr>A.Sauer GmbH</nobr> as a new customer at the world's biggest show for the IT and telecommunications sectors.

"Our presence at <nobr>booth B18</nobr> in <nobr>hall 5</nobr> met with a very positive response from customers, partners, and other show visitors. Overall, leads were up more <nobr>than 10%</nobr>, and we are particularly pleased with the increasingly high quality of customer contacts," reports Ralf Männlein, the Intershop board member responsible for sales and marketing.

At this year's CeBIT show, Intershop announced its entry into the <nobr>end-to-end</nobr> <nobr>e-commerce</nobr> market. Effective immediately, the company covers the full range of <nobr>e-commerce</nobr> business processes-from software, service, and fulfillment to online marketing and logistics.

Sales and marketing head Ralf Männlein adds: "This year marked CeBIT's twentieth anniversary. Intershop has attended for ten of those years, demonstrating remarkable continuity in its sector."

Intershop partners Getit, novomind, and <nobr>VoiceWeb One</nobr>, who presented solutions based on Intershop's packaged Enfinity <nobr>Suite 6</nobr> software at the company's booth, were also pleased with their CeBIT experience.
