Intershop Communications AG Appoints New CEO

Jena, April 2, 2007 - Intershop Communications AG (Prime Standard: ISH2) today announced the appointment of Mr. Friedhelm Bischofs as new Chief Executive Officer.

Mr. Bischofs (61) held executive positions at Hertie, Rewe and Spar Handels AG. Before joining Intershop, he was management consultant particularly in the fulfilment segment.

The newly composed Supervisory Board in today`s Board meeting appointed Mr. Michael Sauer as new chairman of the Supervisory Board.
