Andreas Riedel CEO
Since 2007, Andreas Riedel has served as Chief Executive Officer of Intershop Communications AG and President Americas of Intershop Communications, Inc. Mr. Riedel has overall responsibility for Intershop's global business operations.
Mr. Riedel studied economics, business and law at several major universities in Hamburg, Barcelona and St. Gallen. With over 25 years experience working in large national and international sales companies, Mr. Riedel has held top management positions at Rosenthal AG, Schott Zwiesel AG, Möbel Höffner and Deutschen Telekom AG.
Before joining Intershop, he was Head of the Real sales brand of the Metro Group.
Through publications and lectures, he has earned a reputation as an expert on subjects like change management or online vs. offline trade.
Mr. Riedel is senator of the German Federal Association for Economic Development and Foreign Trade (Bundesverband für Wirtschaftsförderung und Außenwirtschaft, BWA).
Dr. Ludger Vogt Vice President
Dr. Ludger Vogt is Vice President E-Commerce Custom Solutions of Intershop Communications AG, responsible for the global sales and consulting services organisations.
Mr. Vogt studied computer science at the RWTH Aachen University, and in 1992, he received his PhD in information management. He started his career at Oracle's pre-sales department, before becoming responsible for Oracle's consulting division in East Germany.
Since 1998, he led a consulting division at debis (DaimlerChrysler) in Berlin. In 1999, Mr. Vogt joined Intershop. As Vice President Services, he headed Intershop's Consulting, Customer Support and Technical Training until end of 2006.
Lars Rabe Vice President
Lars Rabe is Vice President Online Marketing, heading Intershop's Online Marketing business unit.
Mr. Rabe studied business at the UAS Wiesbaden and the University of Westminster, London. He started his career as executive assistant before becoming regional manager at Jobpilot (Monster), responsible for setting up Jobpilot's European divisions. He then set up the German branch office of NetBooster, an online marketing agency. He was cofounder and managing associate of the performance marketing agency SoQuero GmbH, which was acquired by Intershop in June 2006.
Mr. Rabe is co-author of the book "Performance Marketing", published by BusinessVillage.

Nader Nemati Managing Director Americas
Nader Nemati is the Managing Director Americas responsible for the overall sales, operations, continued growth and profitability of Intershop Communications Inc. in the Americas region reporting to the CEO.
Mr. Nemati has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science and an MBA degree from Western International University.
Mr. Nemati is a proven IT executive with more than 20 years of expanding IT, sales, operations, and change management roles in Fortune-50, mid-market and start-up companies with focus on growth, field enablement, and productivity. He was the co-founder and CEO of CompuNet eBusiness Group, Inc. later acquired by Epicor Software. Most recently, he was Global Director, Retail and Hospitality Practice and Strategic Programs for Epicor Software. Mr. Nemati has also held management positions at AlliedSignal, Honeywell, and Sears Corporation and has conducted business in all of the major geographical regions around the world.
Henry Göttler Vice President
Henry Göttler is Vice President E-Commerce Standard Solutions of Intershop Communications AG, heading the product development and customer support divisions, Online Marketing as well as the full-service e-commerce initiative.
Between 1986 and 1995, Mr. Göttler graduated in sinology and mathematics in Taizhong (Taiwan) and Tübingen, and from 1996 to 2001, he studied business administration in Stuttgart. Mr. Göttler held various positions at HP between 1992 and 2001, such as IT Support Manager EurAsia. In 2001, he joined Intershop, becoming responsible for the global customer support. Since 2006 he has also been Head of Intershop's new full-service e-commerce division.
Since 2005, Mr. Göttler has been leading the working group on service management and standards of BITKOM, the German Association for Information Technology, Telecommunications and New Media.
Dr. Ute Danz Director
Dr. Ute Danz is Director of Corporate Development and is globally responsible for marketing, public relations, training and business development at Intershop.
Mrs. Danz studied and completed her doctorate in pedagogy at the Friedrich-Schiller University of Jena (FSU) and the University of Minsk. After working as an IT/computing instructor at an educational company, she joined Intershop in 1997. She has served in various positions in the IT area for three years.
Since 2000, Mrs. Danz has been heading Intershop's Global Training Division. In May 2007, she also became responsible for marketing, public relations and strategic sales.
Peter Vedder Director Finance Global
Peter Vedder is Director Finance Global, responsible for Intershop's global financial management.
After completing an apprenticeship as an industrial business manager, Mr. Vedder studied business at the Berlin Institute of Technology. He held leading positions in financial departments at various companies, where he achieved a wide experience and expert knowledge in all fields of businesses' financial management.
For instance, Mr. Vedder worked in several positions in the central accounting and as head of controlling of the plating business line of Schering AG. He also directed the finance and accounting department of Atotech Germany, headed accounting and controlling at OSE AG and was VP Finance at Pixelpark AG. |
